In square and black and white, Jean-Baptiste Phou deconstructs his body, framing snippets that are symbolically detached from the whole. He holds his camera at arm’s length, like an extension of himself, sometimes leaving a part to chance in these images that are in turn soft, enigmatic, sensual, graphic.
